We had an amazing weekend racing in beautiful Monaco in the typically light and tricky conditions the venue is known for.
We’re incredibly proud of this result. Finishing ahead of so many professional teams is something we definitely don’t take for granted, especially considering we’re just a group of students from Zurich trying to make the most of every opportunity to race.
One of the highlights was the prize-giving at the prestigious Yacht Club de Monaco. It felt slightly surreal receiving fancy Monaco-branded Moët & Chandon champagne while I was barefoot, Niklas was wearing flip-flops, Philip had his Adidas slides on, and Ben showed up in slippers.
I guess some things don’t change, no matter how glamorous the surroundings are 😅
